Swiftab
Overview
A fast browser agent for the tab you are on: give it a goal and it clicks, types and fills forms, step by step.
Swiftab runs on a paid code: a monthly plan with your own OpenRouter key, or credits with no key needed. Buy one at product.adsmediamix.id/swiftab. Type a goal, press Run, and Swiftab works through the page in the tab you are on. It reads the page's controls, picks the next click, keystroke or dropdown choice with a fast decision model, and repeats until the goal is met. Each decision takes a few hundred milliseconds. A small text model is called only when a field needs typed text. A third model, the thinking model, is asked only when that is not enough: for a short plan when a task has several stages, for a way forward when a run goes in circles, to confirm that a task is finished when the page cannot show it, and for a long text the text model could not write. A run asks it at most five times, and what it says is used for that run only. It is on by default and can be switched off in Options. It runs in your own Chrome with your own logins, so it works on the sites you already use. Numbered badges show which elements the model can see, a status bar shows each decision, Step executes one decision at a time, and Stop ends a run. Several tabs can work at the same time, up to eight, each with its own task. What Swiftab adds: - Site recipes. Short guidance and named step lists per site, so a task that worked once is done the same way next time. Step lists can be learned from finished runs; what you typed is never stored, it becomes a parameter. - Team recipes (optional). Share recipes with your team through a server you choose. - Local agents (optional, off by default, on the own keys plan). A program you run on your own computer, such as a coding agent with an MCP server, can hand goals to the extension, read the page as the extension sees it, and act one operation at a time. The extension connects only to your own machine for this, and the agent then works in a window of its own, behind yours. On the credit plan Swiftab runs from its popup. Swiftab needs a code, which you buy from its maker; it is entered once in Options. There are two plans. On the own keys plan you bring your own API keys for the decision model, the text model and the thinking model. On the credit plan you need no keys: the models are Swiftab's, and credits follow what they cost: a step 1 credit (2 on a very large page), a text written for a field 1, a question to the thinking model about 5 to 7 on Gemini 3.8 Flash or 20 to 27 on Claude Sonnet 5.5, whichever you choose. Without a code that stands, the extension does not run. Your code and a random identifier of the install are checked with Swiftab's server. On the own keys plan nothing else goes there: the pages you work on go straight from your browser to the model providers you configure and, if you turn it on, to your team's recipe server. On the credit plan the requests to the models pass through Swiftab's server on their way to the providers, and it does not store what a page shows. When a run is stuck or may be finished, the question to the thinking model carries a picture of the tab; a switch in Options turns the pictures off. There is no telemetry. Password fields are never read or filled, and the extension does not act on the sign-in and app-permission pages of the major account providers (Google, Microsoft, Apple and others). Built on an MIT-licensed open-source project; its licence notice is included in the package. Not affiliated with any model provider.
