Overview

Today's weather, the next few hours, the week ahead and the rain radar for your places, one click from the toolbar.

The weather where you are, without opening a page full of ads. Click the toolbar icon and it's there: right now, the next few hours, the week ahead and the rain radar. Sweata Weatha by URLflows puts the current temperature right on its toolbar icon, so most of the time you don't even need to click. AT A GLANCE - Now: the temperature, what it feels like, today's high and low, wind, humidity and the chance of rain. - Air and sun: the air quality index (US or European, by your language) and today's sunshine as small gauges, plus tree, grass and weed pollen where it's measured (mostly Europe). - Daylight: a 24-hour timeline from sunrise to sunset, with a marker at the place's own time and the daylight left. - Next hours: the next six hours, hour by hour. - This week: seven days with highs, lows and the chance of rain. - On the icon: the current temperature, refreshed every 30 minutes. Hover it for the conditions. RAIN RADAR Switch the panel to Radar for the last hour of rain and snow around your place, looped, with the towns marked. Pause it, scrub through the hour with the slider, or zoom from your own town out to the whole continent. POP IT OUT Prefer it beside your work? Open the panel in its own window, which stays open and can be resized, and the radar grows with it. You can also set the toolbar icon to open the window every time. YOUR PLACES Search for any town or city and save as many as you like. Switch between them from the panel; the one you're showing is the one on the icon. SETTINGS The gear in the panel opens a settings page with a search box (press / to jump to it). A first install opens it at Getting started. - Places: search, add, choose which one to show, remove. - Units: Celsius or Fahrenheit; km/h, mph, m/s or knots; millimeters or inches. They start from your browser's language. - Radar: the starting zoom, and whether the loop plays when it opens. - Toolbar icon: the temperature badge on or off, and whether a click opens the panel or a window. - Appearance: Dark or Light, with a one-click switch in the panel, then Seasons (Auto follows the time of year) and Holidays themes. An optional animation (snowfall, falling leaves, spring petals or summer fireflies) plays behind the panel; it's off by default. - Backup & Restore: every setting in one JSON file, to restore later or on another computer. - Resets: one area at a time, or everything at once. PRIVACY No accounts, no analytics, no tracking, no ads. Your places and settings stay in Chrome's storage on your computer. To get a forecast, air quality and pollen, the coordinates of the place you're showing are sent to Open-Meteo, the free weather service; a place search sends what you type. The radar loads map images for the area around the place from RainViewer and Esri. Nothing else leaves your browser. The extension can't see the pages you visit. Forecasts: Open-Meteo (open-meteo.com). Radar: RainViewer (rainviewer.com). Map: Esri, HERE, Garmin, © OpenStreetMap contributors. Part of the URLflows family: https://urlflows.app/
