Swarm Rebuild
Overview
Wipe any page to a blank canvas and watch a swarm of multiplayer cursors rebuild it, live.
Click the icon on any website and the page fades to nothing. A swarm of colorful multiplayer cursors gathers around the site's logo, then gets to work rebuilding it, piece by piece, the way a design team would in a design tool: • Boxes dragged out with a crosshair and a live size badge, then filled in • Headlines and paragraphs typed out with a blinking caret • Borders drawn with the pen tool • Ruler guides dragged in, with text snapping onto them • Cards, nav links and list rows Option-dragged into place and retyped When it's done, the page looks just like it did before, rebuilt by the swarm. HOW TO USE • Click the toolbar icon (or press Alt+Shift+S) on any page. • Scroll and the swarm chases you, calling in more agents the faster you go. • Hit "Tour" to auto-scroll at the swarm's pace. Great for screen recordings. • Change build speed with 1× / 2× / 3×. • When it finishes, the cursors flock to your mouse. "Go live" fades back to the real page and "Replay" builds it again. • Press Esc or click the icon again to exit at any time. PRIVACY Nothing is collected, stored or sent anywhere. The extension only runs on the tab you click, at the moment you click it, and everything happens inside your browser. CREDITS Inspired by "Swarm" by Joel Califa (califa.github.io/swarm-site), a website that builds itself as you scroll. Open source at github.com/DhvanilPatel/swarm-cursors.
