SVG Line Tracer

Overview
Turn browser images into clean monochrome or layered multi-color artwork for SVG, 3MF, DXF, PDF, and PNG export.
SVG Line Tracer turns line art, generated artwork, logos, and flat-color images into scalable monochrome or layered multi-color geometry without leaving your browser. Right-click an image and choose Trace image to SVG, or open the tracer to upload, drag, or paste an image. Compare the source and vector preview side by side while preparing geometry for design and fabrication. Monochrome tracing - Convert black-and-white artwork into clean, closed SVG paths - Tune the threshold, invert the foreground, close gaps, remove tiny regions, and simplify paths - Choose Fast, Balanced, or Pro Fine tracing detail Multi-color tracing - Detect an image's meaningful color palette automatically or choose a manual layer count - Recolor connected source areas with the Fill tool, tolerance, and edge-growing controls - Set every detected layer to Color, Cutout, or Ignore - Export one object per color or preserve disconnected components - Add an offset boundary surround to hold keychains, signs, badges, and layered prints together - Show a dotted editor-only boundary guide when a light surround is hard to see - Mirror artwork for face-down 3D printing and set the intended physical size Built for a focused workflow - Capture an image from the current page with one right-click - Upload, drag, or paste PNG, JPG, WEBP, and BMP images - Preview monochrome or color-separated SVG paths before exporting - Download SVG, model-only 3MF, DXF, vector PDF, or high-resolution PNG - Set final X and Y dimensions, preserve aspect ratio, and configure multi-color base and layer heights - Export raised, recessed, or face-down color geometry without replacing slicer printer settings - Process image pixels locally in the extension Five export formats - 3MF model only: Exports traced geometry, display colors, base and layer heights, cutouts, and material-slot assignments without replacing printer or process settings in your slicer - Layered SVG: Keeps editable vector paths, color roles, cutouts, grouping, and physical dimensions - DXF: Creates closed millimeter polylines organized into named color layers - High-resolution PNG: Renders 2048, 4096, or 8192 pixel artwork with optional transparency - Vector PDF: Preserves physical-size color artwork for print, review, and design software Use the resulting paths for multi-color 3D prints, laser and plasma cutting, CNC and vinyl workflows, logos, web and application assets, video graphics, stickers, and other creative production. Output software may require material, color, toolpath, or print-setting assignment after import. Plans The free plan includes unlimited previews, up to 3 monochrome exports per week, and up to 3 layered multi-color exports per month.
