Overview
Free up your device's memory and speed up your browsing on Google Chrome by suspending open tabs
🚀 'Suspend tabs' you're not using to save memory and make your computer run faster! By reducing the load on your device, you’ll also help extend your battery life. 🔋 🕒 Automatically suspend inactive tabs, allowing your computer to work faster and smoother. Reducing CPU usage this way makes everything run better, and you can restore tabs whenever you need them in just a click! 💻✨ ⚡ The built-in tabs manager, accessible through hotkeys, provides a dashboard for quick navigation, and the in-house search makes everything even easier. 🔧 New Update v1.5 - big Change 🔄 1) Key Features - Close all tabs in all open windows with a single click (except pinned tabs). - Auto-suspend: Automatically closes inactive tabs after a specified inactivity period (1-60 minutes). - Optional Auto-reopen: Automatically reopens a closed tab when you return to it (optional - can be enabled in settings). - Save and restore scroll position when reopening a tab. - Exclude websites from auto-suspending (list of domains from the settings page). - Ignore tabs that play sound during auto-suspending. 2) Suspension Page - A modern glass-morphism interface displaying: the site icon, site name, live digital clock, suspension duration, and freed memory. - Choose from 4 preset backgrounds. - Add custom images via a link: they appear as thumbnails alongside the preset backgrounds (up to 12 images), with a delete button for each. - Custom images are cached within the plugin and are not reloaded with each page refresh. They are automatically resized to save space. - Automatic night mode: a darker background after 7 PM (configurable). - Clicking anywhere on the page reopens the tab, in addition to buttons for: Open, Open in New Tab, and Copy Link. 3) Settings page (Options) - Auto-stop: On/Off + Selectable inactivity duration. - Behavior: Auto-reopen on return + Night mode. - Backgrounds: Choose from the defaults or add via link (appears alongside the others) with delete option. - Exceptions list: Ranges that are not stopped (one range per line). - Backup: Export/import settings. 4) Fixes and Improvements (Compared to earlier versions) - Fixed JSON.parse error when reading the closed tab list. - Navigating to the closed tab page now happens directly from the Service Worker via chrome.tabs.update (instead of window.open from the content script) - More reliable on all pages. - Fixed the "close all tabs" issue: Previously, it would close after two tabs or ignore an entire window due to an unhandled error. Now, the loop is protected by try/catch and handles all windows. - Old files and code (Dom.js, _metadata) have been removed. - Bulk stop performance has been improved, and custom images are no longer reloaded with each update. 🔧 New Update v1.4 🔄 - Add Time 🔧 New Update v1.3 🔄 - Fix Some Error 🔧 New Update v1.1 🔄 - Rebuild the code again and speed up the tool - The ability to choose the wallpaper for suspand tabs - Additional possibility of custom background
