SureVett — Amazon Fake Review Checker & Trust Scores
Overview
Spot fake Amazon reviews before you buy. A to F trust grades with the reasoning behind them, on Amazon marketplaces worldwide.
Know which Amazon reviews are real before you buy. SureVett is a free Amazon fake review checker for Chrome. It grades the trustworthiness of Amazon products. It reads the public review data already on the page and shows you an A to F trust grade, right next to the star rating, with the full reasoning behind every score. It is the honest replacement for Fakespot, the tool Mozilla reported 10 million people relied on before it shut down on July 1, 2025. WORKS ON AMAZON WORLDWIDE SureVett supports 17 Amazon marketplaces: amazon.com, .ca, .co.uk, .com.au, .de, .fr, .it, .es, .nl, .se, .pl, .co.jp, .in, .sg, .com.mx, .com.br, and .com.be. Product pages are read in their local language, and prices are shown in the currency the page actually displays, including when Amazon converts prices for international delivery. It also works on Amazon Haul, with honest context: Haul listings publish fewer trust signals than classic product pages, and SureVett tells you so right in the panel. A FAKE REVIEW CHECKER THAT SHOWS ITS WORK Most Amazon review checkers hand you a number and ask you to trust it. SureVett shows the reasoning behind every trust score, signal by signal, so you can disagree with it. That is the whole point: a fake review checker you cannot interrogate is just another opinion. HOW IT WORKS 1. Install in two clicks. Free, no signup required. 2. Shop normally on Amazon. SureVett works automatically. 3. See a trust grade on the product page, and open the side panel for the full breakdown. WHAT IT MEASURES (five signals) - Rating distribution: the "J-curve" test for unnaturally uniform five-star patterns - Review velocity: suspicious launch spikes versus organic growth - Review count and sample size - Seller trust: sold by Amazon, fulfilled by Amazon, or third party - Brand and product signals PRICE HISTORY AND FAKE DISCOUNTS SureVett records the prices observed on your visits and flags "discounts" that reference a list price higher than any price actually seen. You get the current price, the observed low, median, and high, and a simple chart of real observations. Every point is a price someone actually saw, never an invented feed. Every signal shows its score and a plain-English explanation of what SureVett saw. When there are too few reviews to grade confidently, SureVett says so instead of inventing a number. We surface signals, not certainty. Honest fake review detection in 2026 means being clear about what an automated tool can and cannot catch. The grade rates how trustworthy the reviews look. It is not a rating of how good the product is. A superb product can carry a manipulated review section, and an ordinary one can have completely honest reviews and grade well here. PRIVATE BY DESIGN - Your review analysis runs entirely on your device. No AI service and no server ever sees the reviews you read. - No account required. Your price and analysis history stay on your device and are never uploaded. - No ads. No tracking. No data sold. No affiliate links added to your Amazon links. - SureVett only runs on Amazon, not on all your websites. - Optional: sign in with Google to contribute anonymous price points and analysis results (price, product, grade, date) to a shared pool all signed-in users can see. Never your identity, never your browsing, and nothing is linked to your account. WHY TRUST IT SureVett was built by Nathan Hart, a former AWS engineer who testified before the U.S. Department of Justice in a federal fraud case. The trust-verification instinct from that work is built into how SureVett evaluates reviews. Free. Works on Chrome, Brave, and Edge.
