Supertip Browser Camera

Adds a Supertip Camera and Supertip Microphone to StreamYard, Google Meet or any browser studio, carrying your tip overlay.

Put your Supertip tip overlay on your StreamYard, Google Meet or any other browser-studio broadcast, with no OBS and no virtual camera software. Browser studios have no browser-source overlays, so tips sent through Supertip have had nowhere to appear. Supertip Browser Camera fixes that by adding two devices to the camera and microphone pickers of any site: • Supertip Camera: your real camera with your tip overlay layered on top, always a full 16:9 picture. • Supertip Microphone: your real microphone with the overlay's audio mixed in. A studio sends whatever camera and mic it is given to every guest and to the broadcast, so everyone sees and hears each tip, exactly as you do. HOW TO SET IT UP 1. Paste your overlay URL (Supertip → Settings → Overlays → Copy URL) into the extension's options. 2. Pick your camera and microphone, choose which speakers or headphones play the tips for you (or turn that off), and set the overlay, microphone and speaker volumes. 3. Open the Supertip Camera Tab and click the Supertip icon in the toolbar once. Chrome asks for this once per session. 4. In your studio, choose Supertip Camera and Supertip Microphone. Most studios remember the choice, so next time it is just the one click. GOOD TO KNOW • The overlay lives inside your camera tile. In layouts where your tile is small or cropped, so is the overlay. • Listen to the tips on headphones, or your mic may pick the tip audio up a second time. • Muting yourself in the studio also mutes the tip audio, since it rides on the same microphone. • If tips sound muffled, turn off noise suppression in the studio's audio settings.
