TextSwap is a lightweight web text replacement extension that helps you automatically replace specified text on web pages based on custom rules. You can create replacement rules such as: “old text” → “new text” After a rule is added, TextSwap will scan the current web page and replace matching visible text automatically. It is useful for content editing, page preview, wording adjustment, testing, and quick text customization on websites. TextSwap will apply the replacement to the web page. Privacy: TextSwap runs locally in your browser. Replacement rules are stored in your browser storage. This version does not upload your page content, replacement rules, or browsing data to any server. Current Version Notice: This version focuses on web page text replacement only. It does not modify original website data and does not permanently change the source content of any website. Refreshing the page or clearing rules can restore the original display. Image text replacement is not included in the current version.
