Overview
Record your screen and turn it into a Superdegree walkthrough video, a written guide, or both.
Record your screen and turn it into a walkthrough video, a written guide, or both with Superdegree. Choose a browser tab, window, or screen to record. Recording a browser tab is recommended: it is what lets Superdegree make your walkthrough editable. Include shared audio or enable your microphone for spoken narration. Pause and resume from the popup or floating controls; breaks are left out of your video and audio and do not count toward the recording limit. Use the compact floating controls to finish and save, pause or resume, check elapsed time, or discard a take. Stop recording with the keyboard shortcut too. Your recording is saved to your Superdegree library and opens in Superdegree, where you preview it and choose your walkthrough outputs, format, and voice. If saving fails, the recorder keeps the recording on your computer so you can try again. Open recording in the popup returns you to it in Superdegree. Optional page capture helps Superdegree build and update walkthroughs from the pages you demonstrate. When you grant access to a website and share an identifiable browser tab, the extension captures page content, titles and URLs, clicks, scrolling, and text entered into forms during the recording. Password, hidden, and recognized payment and one-time-code fields are excluded from structured page capture. Screen video and audio are not redacted. Window and screen recordings capture video and audio without structured page capture. Declining site access still lets you record video. On the website you allow, a small Superdegree button sits at the edge of the page so you can start a recording without opening the extension. It does nothing until you click it, and you can hide it on any site. After recording stops, your recording and captured pages are uploaded to your Superdegree media library, before you choose what to create. Discard (in the recorder while saving, or in Superdegree afterwards) requests deletion of an unused recording and its captured pages. Your recordings and captured pages are processed by Superdegree and its service providers to deliver the walkthrough features you request. Use demonstration data and avoid private information. A signed-in Superdegree account is required. Generating walkthroughs uses Superdegree credits and may require purchasing credits or a paid plan. Recording limits and available output options are shown in the recorder. Privacy: https://www.super.degree/privacy#recorder Support: support@super.degree
