Super Tab Out

A local-first new tab dashboard for organizing open tabs with tab filtering, privacy mode, themes, and tab groups.

Super Tab Out replaces your new tab page with a local dashboard for open browser tabs. It helps you understand what is open, find the right tab faster, clean up duplicates, save useful tabs for later, restore saved sessions, and close groups of tabs without accidentally touching pinned tabs. Highlights: - Group tabs by domain or by Chrome's native Tab Groups - Filter currently open tabs with the / shortcut - Search open tabs, saved items, and saved sessions with local filters - Hide tab details with privacy mode before screen sharing - Protect pinned tabs from bulk-close and duplicate-cleanup actions - Detect duplicate pages and close extras while keeping one copy - Save tabs for later in a local checklist - Save and restore browsing sessions with Chrome Tab Groups rebuilt - Use the optional Side Panel command center without leaving the current page - Use a local tools workbench for JSON, URL parsing, codecs, timestamps, real QR SVGs, UUID/passwords, hashes, cookies, and session export - Switch between English and Simplified Chinese - Choose from 12 built-in visual themes - Store preferences, saved tabs, saved sessions, and tool state locally Important note: Super Tab Out does not provide web search, does not change the browser's default search provider, and does not intercept searches. The / shortcut only focuses a local filter field for filtering tabs that are already displayed in the dashboard. Privacy: Super Tab Out does not require an account, does not use analytics, does not sell data, and does not upload your tab list to a server. Saved tabs, saved sessions, preferences, stats, achievements, and local tool state stay on your device. The extension may request favicons from DuckDuckGo's icon service and cache them locally for up to 7 days. External favicon requests can be disabled in privacy settings. The local tools workbench processes user input inside the extension. It does not call a backend service. Attribution: Super Tab Out is distributed under the Apache License 2.0.
