The picture shows a Dendrobium orchid grafted onto a large tree trunk outdoors. The tree is in full bloom with brilliant purple-pink flowers, the throat of the flower is yellow mixed with white, with a prominent dark red spot in the middle - a characteristic of many Dendrobium hybrids.
