Sundial: Scheduling Tools for Google Calendar
Overview
Save time scheduling multi-timezone meetings — while keeping all the powerful features of Google Calendar.
Specifically, here's how it works: After installing, Sundial will show in the left column of Google Calendar. 1/ Search a place or timezone in Sundial. Sundial will add that timezone to Google Calendar. Add as many as you need. 2/ Select a time slot on Google Calendar and click, "Copy Time Slot”. Sundial will convert the time slot to written text that's ready to paste anywhere. It'll look something like this: Tue, Jan 3: 10a-12p EST 3/ Select more time slots. The text will build and re-copy to your clipboard each time. After multiple selections, it'll look something like this: Mon: Jan 2: 9-11a EST Tue, Jan 3: 8-9a, 10a-12p EST 4/ Adjust the timezone by searching a place or timezone in the panel. The text will adjust and re-copy to your clipboard, looking like this: Mon: Jan 2: 3-5p CET Tue, Jan 3: 2-3p, 4-6p CET 5/ For team scheduling, Sundial works with any calendars you can overlay. So you can add your coworkers' calendars to Google Calendar and select the open time slots. 6/ When someone emails you to meet, click "View on Calendar" in Gmail. Sundial will read the meeting request and overlay the times on Google Calendar, automatically adjusted to your timezone. 7/ You can enable "Holds" in the Settings in the panel. A second button will show, "Copy & hold". When clicked it will turn the time slot to text and create an event on the calendar for the hold. Sundial is free to use. The free tier offers 40 uses per month (added timezones, text generations, overlays) and adds "Scheduling by Sundial" to your emails. This helps spread the word. For unlimited uses, you can upgrade to Sundial Pro for $6/month. This helps me continue to support users and improve the product. Thank you for trying Sundial. I hope you find it helpful! Sundial collects email addresses and Chrome IDs of users, along with events specifically related to the extension's usage. We never share or sell your information. It is strictly used to improve the user experience.

Its crazy how this solves exactly the issue no other app has a solution for. Simple and elegant approach to multi-timezone work environments, I have to manage people on different continents and it happens often that I schedule a meeting on a time they should be resting! Thanks for this, my team will appreciate it.

I absolutely love using Sundial. As an EA, I'm constantly having to share time options for several executives that are located in different time zones and Sundial makes it so much easier to do so. The Chrome extension is easy to use and saves me a ton of time!

This is the only app/chrome extension that I've used that accomplishes the specific tasks that as an EA, I do on a daily basis. It's simple, straightforward, and connects right into Google Calendar which is awesome. Highly recommend!!

That it works natively with Google Calendar seems to be a hit with a lot of folks. Thank you, Katie!
