Overview
Scan QR codes on your screen, selected areas, images, or webcam, and generate QR codes locally in your browser.
Scan, decode, and create QR codes directly in your browser. Everything runs locally on your computer with no advertisements and no external server uploads. When you open the extension or press Alt+Shift+Q, it automatically scans the visible tab and detects all QR codes shown on the screen at once, displaying a preview thumbnail for each result. If a QR code is very small inside a document or video, you can use the area selection tool to draw a rectangle with your mouse around the exact region you want to read. You can also drop an image file into the popup, paste a screenshot from your clipboard, right-click an image on any web page, or use your webcam. Instead of blindly opening unknown links, the extension displays the destination domain clearly before you click. It also parses Wi-Fi configuration codes so you can copy the network password in one click, computes live six-digit verification codes for two-factor authentication setups, and lets you save contact cards directly. The built-in generator tab automatically fills in the address of your current tab so you can create and download high-resolution QR code images offline, or keep an optional local history on your device.
