Unlike traditional DOM-based eyedroppers that fail when hovering over canvas graphics, embedded video players, or portable documents, this extension combines the native hardware eyedropper with a built-in pixel magnifier loupe that operates directly on a high-precision capture of your visible tab. Screen Eyedropper and Pixel Magnifier Loupe Click the primary eyedropper button (or use the Alt+Shift+C shortcut) to sample any pixel anywhere on your screen. When you need sub-pixel accuracy on fine borders, icons, or typography, open the interactive pixel loupe inside the popup to inspect a magnified nine-by-nine pixel grid and click the exact pixel you want to capture. Instant Color Notations, Tonal Scales, and Harmonies Every sampled or manually entered color is immediately converted into standard web notations ready to copy in a single click, including hexadecimal notation, red-green-blue values, hue-saturation-lightness coordinates, perceptual lightness-chroma-hue values, and the closest matching Tailwind shade name. The inspector also generates a nine-step tonal scale from light to dark alongside complementary, analogous, and triadic color harmonies. Automatic Webpage Palette Extraction Switch to the Palette tab to analyze the active tab and extract the dominant colors used across backgrounds, typography, borders, and interface accents. Even on restricted pages or local documents where content scripts cannot run, the extension automatically falls back to visual quantization of the visible viewport.
