Summme - Add Voice Chat to AI Chatbots (TTS & STT)

Works as advertised. The extension allows you to talk and inputs speech into text and text into (pretty high quality) speech. However, I noticed that it sends the message immediately as soon as I stop talking (not sure if it's my app specific). In general the app does seem a bit aggressive (wouldn't use the word intrusive but it could be perceived as such) with SST.

Hi Leon, Thank you for the feedback. You're right—the immediate message sending might be a bit too fast (it's not just you). I'll implement a fix for this in the next update to improve the experience. This was really good feedback. Thank you again!

If the extension does not currently support Claude, then it should not be listed as such. Will change review, when this changes.

Hi Junius, Thank you for your feedback. Indeed, Claude was working before but stopped due to an update on the Claude site. One of the challenges of the old approach was that it could break if Claude developers changed the site layout. The new approach with version 1.0 is more resilient and can withstand minor changes to Claude's design now. Best, Sam

Would be ideal for me to have faster playback speed optionality. Stopped using after I saw how limited it was.

Hi Parker, Thank you for your feedback. The default playback speed is 1X, and there is an option to increase it up to 2X. I am open to your feedback on how much faster you would like it to be.

I like it and appreciate your work so much, but can you make it change voices for different languages? For example: If the answer on Chat GPT or Claude is displayed in English, then you will speak English. And if the answer is displayed in Vietnamese, you will speak Vietnamese aloud. This would be awesome, but for now, I have to change it manually, and it is super inconvenient.

I really like your app. This is something I was looking for a long time! It has few minor bugs but in general I find it extremely useful. Thx. However can you elaborate on your privacy policy? Why do you need that for? "Summme - Text to Speech (TTS) for AI Chatbots collects the following: Personally identifiable information For example: name, address, email address, age, or identification number"

Hi Pete, Thank you so much for your kind words! Regarding your question about the app's privacy policy: the old version of Summme never collected any personally identifiable information. There was an optional "Add greeting name" feature that allowed anyone to enter a name for the AI to read aloud to make responses feel more personal. In the new version 1.0, an optional login to create an account has been added to access additional features. However, you can still continue to use the TTS and STT functionalities without creating an account profile. I hope this clarifies your concerns.
