SuitePreferences is a Chrome extension that brings admin- and developer-focused tools into your NetSuite workflow—so you spend less time switching contexts and more time shipping. 📋 Records & Forms • Record Inspector — Inspect a record as XML or JSON, see related transactions, and read field history from system notes. Hover the sidebar icon to pick a view. • Show Field IDs — Show internal field IDs next to their labels so you can copy them into a script, search, or query. • Record tab titles — Browser tabs show the document number and name, so a row of open records stays readable. • Grids (Advanced Sublists) — Read-only, sortable, filterable sublist grids on record view, with optional columns for fields that are not on the native sublist. • Connected Scripts & Workflows — See the scripts and workflows attached to the page you are on, from the sidebar. 🔍 Search & Reports • Saved Search Split View — Preview results in a split panel without leaving the criteria editor. • Saved Search Field Explorer — Search fields, expand related joins, and apply them back to criteria, filters, and results. • Saved Search Formula Library — Browse formulas used in saved search criteria and results. Open it from General Settings or from the formula editor. • Saved Search Formula Autocomplete — Type { in a formula editor and pick the field ID. Arrow keys to move, Enter or Tab to insert. • Export Saved Search — Generate SuiteScript to recreate a saved search. Copy to SuiteConsole opens it in a new SS2.x tab. • Open in Google Sheets — Export saved search and report results to a new spreadsheet in your Google Drive. Connect from General Settings or on first export. 🧭 Navigation • Places — Recent pages, saved shortcuts, and hotkeys, plus a command palette (Ctrl/⌘+Shift+Space) that searches shortcuts, recents, and records. • Go to Record — Jump to a record by internal ID, document number, name, script ID, or external ID, with an inactive-record toggle. • File Cabinet Permalinks — Folders in the File Cabinet list and left tree get real URLs you can open, share, and bookmark. • Report Filter Permalinks — Report filters live in the URL, so refresh, copy, and share reuse them. 📊 Dashboard • Portlet Refresher — Refresh dashboard portlets on an interval, including when you open the dashboard, with pause and a manual refresh. 📥 CSV Import • CSV Import Response Viewer — Open the CSV Response on an Import Assistant job in the page, so you can review it without leaving NetSuite. 💻 Queries & APIs • SuiteConsole — Run SuiteQL and SuiteScript 2.x without a deploy. Multiple tabs per language, named parameters, a snippets library, and results as a table or JSON. Open it in a dedicated NetSuite tab for a wider editor. • Server Runtime — Optionally run SuiteQL and SuiteScript on the NetSuite server through a Bridge RESTlet in your account. Off by default. • Enable Account Schema — Index SuiteQL tables from your account. Schema Explorer is the visual, ERD-style browser: search tables, pick fields, and generate SQL. SuiteQL Autocomplete uses that index in the editor. • REST API Workbench — Browse REST Record API routes, build the request from the OpenAPI schema, connect with OAuth, and inspect the response. Optional permissions are requested when you enable it. • Log Viewer — Script execution logs in a dedicated browser tab, with filtering, search, and sort. 🛡️ Account & Safety • Environment Guard — Color the favicon by the account type NetSuite reports (Production, Sandbox, and others), with an optional header banner and colors you can override. • Open in another environment — Open the page you are on in another NetSuite account you have visited. The target URL is editable before it opens. • Preference Finder — On Set Preferences, search the fields and jump straight to the one you want. • Role & Permission Inspector — Read a role’s permission matrix, compare two roles, copy differences between custom roles, and find which roles hold a permission. • Ignored Pages — Skip loading SuitePreferences on NetSuite URLs you choose. 🔔 Also in the panel • SuiteGlow — Light, dark, or match system. • What's New — Release notes in the panel, and your installed version next to the latest Chrome Web Store release. • Documentation and Suggest an Idea — Hover the book icon in the action bar. • Pause Extension suspends page features.
