An extension that enables users to type $ .... $ to render inline latex in their substack posts. DISCLAIMER: This is built on a found latex_inline node that already exists in Substack. If this node is removed, manipulated, or renamed, this extension will fail. This is a proof of concept extension for those wanting a quick solution while they wait for Substack to build it. This was a learning project for me and an experiment to see if this would actually work. So far, this has only been tested on my device which runs Chrome's Version 150.0.7871.124 (Official Build) (64-bit). I tested it on the editor and published the post as well as receiving the email. They all seem to work. Please let me know if you have any thoughts, suggestions, improvements, etc. Happy to try to build it up more and hope that Substack makes this an official function soon. Again THIS IS NOT AN OFFICIAL SUBSTACK EXTENSION / FUNCTION. This is built on top of an already existing substack internal node.
