Overview

Find any scene in your Plex movies by searching what was said. Type a quote, click the line, and jump straight to that moment.

Remember the line but not where it happens? Subseek lets you search the dialogue of the movie you're watching in Plex and jump right to that scene. HOW IT WORKS 1. Start a movie in Plex Web (app.plex.tv) 2. Click the SubSeek button in the player controls 3. Type part of a quote and click any matching line to jump there FEATURES Instant search across every line of dialogue Click any line to seek to it, with a moment of lead-in so you don't miss the start Follows along as the movie plays, highlighting the current line Keyboard friendly: press / to search, arrow keys to move, Enter to jump No subtitles on your server? SubSeek fetches them through Plex's built-in subtitle search Subtitles out of sync? Pick another subtitle file from the list, and SubSeek remembers your choice for that movie • Doesn't change your on-screen subtitles: whatever you had on (or off) stays that way PRIVACY SubSeek only talks to Plex and your own Plex Media Server, using the sign-in you already have in Plex Web. It doesn't collect, store, or send your data anywhere else. REQUIREMENTS • Plex Web in Chrome (app.plex.tv). The Plex desktop, TV, and mobile apps aren't supported • English subtitles for now SubSeek is an independent project and isn't affiliated with or endorsed by Plex, Inc.
