Overview

Export your YouTube subscriptions to JSON/CSV and import them into another account. Truly free: no ads, no server, no API key.

It's really free. There are so many "subscription transfer" extensions that push payments or ask for strange permissions that I built this one myself with Claude Code. I don't want your pocket change. No ads, no server. Just enjoy it. ■ What it does • Export: save every channel your account is subscribed to as a JSON or CSV file • Import: subscribe another account to the same channels in one go • Skips channels you are already subscribed to • When it finishes, it checks YouTube again to verify the result and lets you download any failures as CSV • Also imports Google Takeout subscriptions.csv and NewPipe / FreeTube backups • The CSV uses the same columns as Google Takeout, so FreeTube, NewPipe and other apps can read it ■ How to use 1. On a YouTube tab signed in to your old account, click the icon → "Export JSON" 2. Switch to the new account 3. Click the icon → choose the file → "Start import" (You can close the popup and it keeps going. Just don't close the tab.) ■ Why you can trust it • Everything runs inside your browser • It talks to nothing but youtube.com • It never collects or sends personal data, passwords or cookies • No sign-up, no payment, no API key • The only permission is access to youtube.com • Open source (MIT): https://github.com/KORThomasJeong/yt-sub-transfer ■ Note • With hundreds of channels, YouTube may slow you down. If many fail, raise the delay to 3–5 seconds and run the same file again; channels already subscribed are skipped. Not affiliated with or endorsed by YouTube or Google.
