Enhance the subtitles on popular streaming platforms like Netflix, YouTube, Amazon Prime Video, Hulu, and Disney+ (or bring your own subtitles and/or videos to watch locally). - Highlight and lookup definitions of unknown words - Create Anki cards - Add additional plugins for endless enhancement. - *LATEST PLUGINS* Add Japanese Furigana, and Chinese Pinyin and Zhuyin (Bopomofo) to subtitles. - Uses AI to translate subtitles into your native language. - *NEW* AI Synopsis - get a detailed show summary before watching to see if it suits your tastes, and to enhance comprehension of your target language. *Getting Started* - Open a video on Netflix, Amazon Prime, YouTube (or other supported streaming service) in the language you want to learn. - Click the Subkit icon in the browser top bar and connect to the video. - Set your target and native language settings. - Select or upload subtitles. - Highlight unknown words or use other features shown on the settings page.
