StyleShift
Overview
Inject local fonts and custom CSS into any webpage
StyleShift lets you take control of how any website looks and reads. FONTS Pick from a curated set of bundled fonts, upload your own font files, or import directly from Google Fonts. Apply a font globally, or just to the sites you choose — StyleShift remembers your preference per site and re-applies it automatically on every visit. One-click shortcuts are pre-loaded for popular sites you visit every day, so you can turn styling on for them instantly. Set a separate monospace font just for code blocks. CUSTOM CSS Write and apply your own CSS per site with a built-in editor — format, save, reset, or copy your styles whenever you like. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Everything is stored locally in your browser using chrome.storage.local. StyleShift has no backend and no servers — the only network request it ever makes is to Google Fonts, and only if you choose to import a font using your own API key. LOCALIZED The popup interface is available in English, Spanish, Arabic, Chinese, and Persian. PERMISSIONS, EXPLAINED activeTab / scripting: to inject your chosen font and CSS into the current page. storage / unlimitedStorage: to save your per-site settings and uploaded fonts locally. host permissions: so styling can apply on any site you visit, not just a fixed list.
