Stylebot

Started screwing up all my webpages by preventing some things from loading. Had to uninstall.

Code checking, highlights and hints: YES! I forgot to use IDE and accidently removed half of my code and there was no Ctrl + Z form me 😅

For Brave browser, you have to disable shields to get the code window to pop up, otherwise clicking Open Stylebot does nothing. After entering the code you can re-enable shields and the code still works. Would be nice to have an update where the Open Stylebot works with shields up, otherwise people are just going to think the extension is bugged, which I thought it was at first... I was halfway thru a 1-star rating before I though to try disabling shields.

A brilliant browser level CSS style tool. Fantastic interface. Super easy to use.

This app is likely highly under rated as it is one of my most used tools in chrome. I love that i can change the appearance of webpages i visit often to suit my wants instead of theirs. I can remove ads and popups and pay walls...

Works fine, but how can I reset the changes made on a page?

Firstly, the reason Stylebot doesn't work on the Chrome Web Store is because Google doesn't allow it, same with ad blockers. It's also melodramatic to call it "abandoned" after only a few months. Opera users should be aware though that the "Open Stylebot" button may do nothing (granted it's not designed for Opera), however right-clicking on the page then "Style Element" is a tolerable workaround. Once you actually get the style editor open it does the job.
