StudyPet is a motivational browser companion that rewards your productive browsing habits with a virtual pet that grows, levels up, and evolves the more you study. It automatically detects whether you're on a productive site (learning platforms, documentation, coding tools) or a distraction site (social media, streaming, gaming) and adjusts your pet's XP accordingly. ★ YOUR VIRTUAL STUDY COMPANION Choose from four adorable pets — Cat, Dog, Bunny, or Fox — each hand-drawn with smooth canvas vector graphics across four evolution stages: • Baby — your pet hatches when you install the extension • Teen — evolves at level 5 after consistent study time • Adult — evolves at level 10 with a collar and mature appearance • Legendary — evolves at level 15 with a golden glow aura Your pet's mood changes based on hunger and energy — keep it fed and rested to keep it happy! ★ AUTOMATIC SITE TRACKING StudyPet classifies websites into three categories in real time: • Productive — learning sites, docs, coding tools, reference sites (+2 XP/min) • Distraction — social media, streaming, shopping, gaming (-1 XP/min) • Neutral — everything else (no XP change) 80+ productive sites and 50+ distraction sites are built in. ★ CUSTOM SITE MANAGEMENT Add your own domains directly from Settings: • Type any domain (e.g. myschool.edu) and classify it as Productive or Distraction • Custom domains override the built-in lists — reclassify any site your way • View and manage your custom lists with one-click removal • Paste full URLs — the extension auto-strips protocol, path, and www ★ XP, LEVELING & COINS • Earn 2 XP per minute on productive sites • Earn 1 coin per minute of study time • Lose 1 XP per minute on distraction sites • Bonus 30 XP + 15 coins for every completed Pomodoro session • Streak bonus — consecutive study days multiply your daily XP reward • 20 levels with an escalating XP curve ★ BUILT-IN POMODORO TIMER Stay focused with a fully integrated Pomodoro timer: • Configurable work (default 25 min), break (5 min), and long break (15 min) • Auto-start next session option • Every 4th break is a long break • Completing a work session earns bonus XP and coins • Timer persists even if you close the popup ★ PET CARE • Feed your pet (costs 10 coins) to restore hunger • Rest your pet to restore energy • Hunger and energy decay slowly over time • Low hunger/energy makes your pet sad or sleepy ★ DAILY STATS • Track productive, distraction, and neutral minutes per day • See XP earned today and Pomodoro sessions completed • Lifetime stats: total study hours, pet level, streak, total pomodoros ★ FLOATING PET WIDGET A small draggable pet floats in the corner of every page you visit. It shows your pet's current animation and mood, plus a status indicator when you're on a productive or distraction site. Hover to see pet stats. Toggle it on or off from settings. ★ KEYBOARD SHORTCUT • Alt+P — Toggle the floating pet widget on any page ★ NOTIFICATIONS Get desktop notifications when: • Your pet levels up • Your pet evolves to a new stage • A Pomodoro work session completes • A break ends ★ 100% OFFLINE — COMPLETE PRIVACY All tracking, XP calculation, and pet state management happens entirely on your device.
