Study Companion by Synlecto turns lecture recordings into study materials right where you watch them. Generate Essentials, Flashcards, and Missions from the current lecture’s transcript, then review and practice directly in the in‑page panel. Works on supported lecture and video platforms (e.g., Canvas, Panopto, YouTube). Key Features - Generate Essentials (key points + concise summaries). - Create Flashcards and Missions for active recall and practice. - Use it on supported LMS and video platforms (e.g., Canvas, Panopto, YouTube). - Sign‑in to sync guides to your Synlecto account. How it works 1) Open a supported lecture page. 2) Click the extension Study Companion button. 3) Press Generate to build your study materials. Privacy note - Nothing is sent until you click Generate. - Transcript text + video metadata are sent to Synlecto servers to create the guide. - Manage or delete your data in Synlecto settings.
