Tasks, Pomodoro, Eisenhower sorting and optional Gemini help.

Tired of calendars, reminders, and scheduling apps that still make you do all the planning yourself? Want something that can look at your tasks, priorities, available time, and simply help tell you what you should do now? That is what Stuđiô would be: a daily time-manager that eases the time and effort of planning , instead of adding another system to maintain. Tasks, Eisenhower prioritization, time budgeting, Pomodoro, scheduling assistance, and optional AI automation are brought together so you spend less time organizing your work and more time actually starting it. AI features use the Gemini API from Google AI Studio, which keeps Stuđiô free but currently requires a small one-time setup. If that setups sounds unfamiliar, don't worry — a step-by-step guide is included at the end. AI is also completely optional; the core app works without it. MAIN FEATURES Most of the following can be assisted or automated by Gemini AI: - Automatic task understanding and sorting: Stuđiô can read task details such as deadlines, expected time, goals, and context, then suggest how the task should be handled. - Eisenhower sorting: Automatically suggest whether a task is Urgent & Important, Important but Not Urgent, etc. (😁you get it if you are familiar with Eisenhower table0, or Needs sorting when there is not enough information to classify it confidently. - Daily planning assistance: Use tasks, priorities, deadlines, and available time to help decide what is realistic to work on today. - Automatic daily time budget: Estimate usable time from multiple available sources instead of depending only on one manually entered daily limit, then compare it with the planned workload. - Task breakdown and focus-block planning (GTD - Get Things Done: Split large tasks into smaller working sessions, with multiple focus blocks suggested when appropriate instead of forcing everything into one long session. - Schedule assistance: Suggest where work could fit into the day while keeping generated schedules reviewable before being accepted. - Task detail extraction: Detect useful information already written inside a task, such as dates, expected duration, goals, or desired progress, reducing the amount of manual form-filling needed. - Usage-based planning assistance: Use relevant activity and planning information to improve future suggestions, while memory-related features remain separately controllable. - Explainable automation: Keep AI suggestions understandable and reviewable instead of silently rearranging tasks and schedules in the background. Features that do not require Gemini: - Task management: Add, edit, complete, and organize tasks normally without connecting any AI service. - Today view: Keep the work that matters now in one place, with quick access to current tasks and plans. - Eisenhower Matrix: Manually organize tasks by urgency and importance, including a Needs sorting section for tasks that have not been classified yet. - Daily time budget: Set and use a time budget manually even when AI assistance is disabled. - Pomodoro / focus timer: Work through tasks using focused work and break intervals directly inside Stuđiô. - Planning tools: Create and adjust plans manually without requiring Gemini. - Optional Kanban: Use a board-style workflow instead of the default Eisenhower + time-budget approach when that fits the work better. - Local-first operation: Core tasks, planning, and history can remain on the device, and Gemini is not required for Stuđiô to function. - Separate AI controls: AI-assisted sorting, planning, memory, and other automation features can be enabled or disabled separately instead of being all-or-nothing. GEMINI AI SETUP Gemini is completely optional. If the core task-management features are enough, this setup can be skipped and completed later. 1. Open Gemini setup in Stuđiô During first-time setup, choose: Show Gemini setup next → Open Gemini setup Gemini can also be connected later from the Today tab through the Gemini connection section. 2. Open Google AI Studio In Google AI Studio, look at the bottom-left corner and click: Get API key This will open the API Keys page. 3. Create an API key On the API Keys page, click: Create API key The button is located near the top-right of the page. 4. Choose or create a Google project Google AI Studio will ask which project should own the key. You can either: - choose an existing/imported project, or - select Create project if you do not have one yet. Then create the API key. 5. Copy the generated API key Once Google generates the key, copy it. Treat the API key like a password. Avoid sharing it publicly or including it in screenshots. 6. Return to Stuđiô Open: Today → Gemini connection Paste the API key into the API key field. Then select the Gemini model you want to use. Stuđiô provides a default model, so changing it is optional. 7. Choose whether to remember the key The Remember on this device option controls whether Stuđiô stores the key locally for future browser sessions. If it is disabled, you may need to enter the key again in a later session. 8. Connect and test Click: Connect & test Stuđiô will make a test request to confirm that the API key and selected Gemini model are working correctly. Once the connection succeeds, Gemini-assisted features can be used. ABOUT GEMINI Stuđiô uses the Gemini API through Google AI Studio instead of requiring a separate Stuđiô AI subscription. Google may provide free API usage depending on the selected model, project, account, and current Gemini API limits. Those quotas and conditions are controlled by Google and may change over time. Gemini remains optional — Stuđiô's core task, prioritization, time-budgeting, planning, and focus features can still be used without connecting it.
