Overview

Removes tracking junk (utm, fbclid, gclid…) from links when you copy or share them. Clean URLs without breaking sites. Free.

Stripped removes tracking parameters — utm_source, fbclid, gclid, and the rest — from links, so the URLs you share are short, clean, and private. The important difference: Stripped cleans links when YOU copy or share them, not while you browse. Other URL cleaners rewrite pages as you use them, which is why they break shopping filters, spreadsheets, and login flows. Stripped doesn't touch the page at all. If you want browse-time cleaning, you can turn it on per site — it's off by default. How you use it: • Copy a link anywhere — Stripped cleans it automatically and shows a small "Stripped N trackers" receipt. • Or right-click a link, a selection, or the page → "Copy clean link" (Markdown option included). • Press Alt+Shift+C to copy a clean link to the page you're on. Stripped also unwraps redirect links (like google.com/url and Outlook SafeLinks), converts AMP links back to the real page, and removes the long #:~:text= highlight tails. It's careful by design. Stripped only removes parameters on its published list — anything it doesn't recognise is kept, so links keep working. A whitelist lets you switch it off on any site with one toggle. The full list of what gets stripped is viewable in the settings, and it updates automatically as new trackers appear. Private by default: no account, no analytics, nothing leaves your machine. The only network requests are fetching the ruleset updates and reports you choose to send. Stripped is free forever, made by niallcodes. If it saves you from ugly links, you can support it at ko-fi.com/niallcodes.
