Overview

Set a recurring stretch reminder for desk work. A notification, soft chime, and on-screen alert prompt you to step away.

When a task absorbs your attention, it is easy to miss the pause you meant to take. Stretch Routine provides a stretch reminder on a repeating schedule you control. Start your workday and carry on; a desktop notification, soft chime, and small on-screen alert tell you when the chosen interval has elapsed. This break timer supplies a regular cue to step away from the computer. You decide what to do during the pause and when to return. There are no exercise instructions or guided sessions to follow. ⏱️ SET YOUR RHYTHM Choose one of four presets or enter a custom interval from 1 to 480 minutes. The default is half an hour, so you can get a reminder to stretch every 30 minutes without changing the setting. Open the popup to see the time remaining, shown in minutes and seconds inside a progress ring. The status indicates whether the schedule is active. Your interval is remembered for the next session. 🔔 NOTICE THE CUE • Hear the bundled sound while you are working in another window. • See a desktop message when notifications are allowed by your system. • Dismiss the card on the active tab with "Got it," or let it fade after eight seconds. These signals accompany the same scheduled event. Internal settings pages cannot display the card; the other signals do not depend on that overlay appearing. 🖱️ START AND STOP 1. Open the toolbar popup and choose an interval. 2. Press Start Workday to begin recurring prompts. 3. Press Stop Workday when you finish or before choosing a different interval. The schedule continues until stopped and resumes after a restart. The application must be running to deliver alerts; it cannot notify you while closed. 💡 GOOD TO KNOW Can this be a "take a break" reminder during desk work? Yes. It provides the cue, while the length and activity of your pause remain your choice. Does the stretch break reminder track completed exercises? No. It does not record a workout or check whether you moved. 🔒 LOCAL SETTINGS Your interval and active schedule stay in local extension storage. The sound is bundled, and operation needs no account or internet connection. Website access is used to place the small alert on the tab you are viewing.
