Streamlift — Save Streaming Video to MP4
Overview
Save video streams you have the right to keep — recordings, internal training, licensed footage — as one clean MP4, in your browser.
Streamlift turns the video streams you're allowed to keep into a single, clean MP4 — without any external server. Some videos you have every right to save: your own recordings, internal training sessions, webinar replays, licensed footage, private course material. But they're delivered as fragmented DASH/HLS streams that a normal "Save As" can't capture. Streamlift detects those streams, downloads the pieces, and remuxes them into one MP4 — all locally in your browser using bundled ffmpeg (WebAssembly). Nothing is uploaded. How it works 1. Open a page and play the video you're authorized to save. 2. Click the Streamlift icon — it lists the streams it detected. 3. Pick quality/audio and download a clean MP4. Features - Detects DASH (.mpd) and HLS (.m3u8) streams automatically - Joins segments and remuxes to MP4 locally — your video never leaves your device - Quality and audio-track selection - Live download progress with thumbnails - Free, no account, no limits What Streamlift is not Streamlift does not bypass DRM or platform protections, and it is not a tool for pirating content. Use it only for videos you own or are authorized to download. It is built for private, internal, and self-owned content that general-purpose downloaders don't cover.
