StreamBubbles Overlay for YouTube is a Chrome extension that displays YouTube Live chat comments directly over the video player as a chat overlay. Instead of constantly watching the chat panel on the right side, you can view comments directly over the video, making it easier to enjoy the stream and follow the chat at the same time. It is designed to make YouTube live streams and archived live streams with chat replay more comfortable and enjoyable to watch. It makes the excitement of the stream easier to feel on-screen and works well for gaming streams, talk streams, event streams, and other live content. POP POP displays comments as popup-style speech bubbles. It is suitable when you want comments to appear one by one in a more readable format instead of continuously scrolling. Classic Classic overlays comments on the video in a format similar to a standard chat panel. It is useful when you want to follow the flow of chat in a calmer, more familiar layout. Theater Plus Mode When Theater Plus Mode is enabled, the chat panel is moved below the player in theater mode, allowing the video player to use more horizontal space. Combined with the overlay display, this makes it easier to watch a larger video while still keeping track of chat comments. Hide Chat in Fullscreen When “Hide chat in fullscreen” is enabled, YouTube’s native chat panel is visually hidden while YouTube is in fullscreen mode. It does not close the chat itself. Combined with the overlay display, this makes it easier to enjoy the video in fullscreen while still following chat comments through the overlay.
