)Overview
Save, switch, customize, and share tab workspaces from a lightweight Chrome side panel.
Organize your browsing workspace and prepare tabs for sharing or streaming—all from a compact Chrome side panel. SAVE AND SWITCH WORKSPACES • Save an open window as a named tab group. • Organize groups into sessions and reopen them when needed. • Customize group names, colors, and icons. • Share groups and sessions with exportable share codes, and import codes from others. • Use the full dashboard for a larger workspace view. ON-PAGE BLUR TOOLS • Hold Ctrl+B and drag to place a cosmetic blur over part of a webpage. • Move, resize, or remove blurs directly on the page. • Use streamer-oriented controls to reduce accidental exposure of page content. RECORD A SELECTED AREA AS A GIF • Use the assigned GIF shortcut—Ctrl+G on Windows, Command+G on Mac—to draw a recording area. • Or click Record GIF, draw your area, and select that same tab in Chrome's sharing chooser. • The recording boundary and controls remain on the page, outside the intended saved crop. • Stop & save opens a preview; choose where to save the GIF or discard it. • Use the X beside Stop & save to cancel a starting or active recording without saving. • GIFs are silent, recorded at approximately 8 frames per second, limited to 30 seconds, and exported up to 640 pixels wide. MORE ROOM FOR YOUR GROUPS Compact top controls, collapsible Page tools, and expandable session-management actions keep the sidebar focused on your tabs. LOCAL PROCESSING Workspaces and preferences are stored in your Chrome profile. GIF frames are processed locally. Stream Tabs does not upload recordings or workspace data to a developer-operated server. You control exported files and any share codes you send to others. IMPORTANT NOTES If a shortcut is unassigned or conflicts with another extension, configure it at chrome://extensions/shortcuts. Page tools cannot run on Chrome's protected internal pages. For the Record GIF button, choose the same tab where you drew the selection. Cosmetic blur is a visual effect, not secure redaction: it does not remove the underlying information or guarantee that sensitive content cannot be recovered. Review recordings before sharing them.
