Stream Chat Filter hides unwanted comments in YouTube and Twitch live chats in real time, entirely within your browser. It never communicates with any external server, and your chat content is never transmitted anywhere. ■ Features ◇ NG word filter - Substring match, exact match, and regular expressions - Per-word case sensitivity (Aa / A=a) - Per-word hiragana/katakana sensitivity (かカ / か=カ) ◇ Emoji & custom emote support - Unicode emoji, YouTube membership emoji (:_name:), and Twitch emote names are all matched ◇ Length limit - Automatically block comments longer than a set number of characters - Emoji and stickers each count as one character, and URLs are excluded from the count ◇ Block URLs - Automatically block comments containing URLs or links (off by default) ◇ Repeat-spam detection - Automatically block a message when the same text appears a set number of times in recent chat - Short common reactions (like "w" or "8888") are excluded to avoid false positives ◇ Block log - Review recently blocked messages and the reason (NG word / length / URL / spam) per tab - To keep blocked, unpleasant comments out of sight, the log stays hidden until you press "Show" - Configurable display count (default: 10) ◇ Display modes - Choose between hiding messages completely or replacing them with a placeholder text ◇ And more - Per-tab blocked-count badge on the toolbar icon - Full settings backup/restore as JSON, plus CSV import for NG word lists - Available in 8 languages (Japanese, English, Simplified Chinese, Korean, Spanish, German, French, Portuguese) ■ How to use 1. Open a YouTube live stream or a Twitch channel — filtering starts automatically 2. Click the toolbar icon to toggle the filter, see the blocked count, and check the block log 3. Configure NG words and features on the options page — changes apply to open tabs immediately ■ Privacy - No external communication at all: everything runs inside your browser - No analytics, no ads, no tracking - Settings are stored only in your browser (chrome.storage)
