Track hint-word progress in NYT Strands. See found/remaining counts; click any word to highlight its path on the board.

Turn hint words into a side quest. Strands Hint Tracker adds a progress panel alongside NYT Strands so you can see how many hint words the puzzle contains, how many you've found, and how many are left. Play the daily puzzle as usual, with a little extra progress to chase: • See total, found and remaining hint-word counts. • Review recently found words, or expand the full found list. • Keep remaining words hidden while you play. • Choose “Show remaining (spoilers)” when you want to browse or filter the words you still need. • Select a revealed word to preview its path on the board. Words are submitted only through the game's normal controls. The tracker runs on Strands pages in desktop Chrome. It reads puzzle data and saved hint-word progress locally in your browser. It does not send that information to the developer or any external service, use analytics, or modify your saved game progress. How to use it: install the extension, open or refresh Strands, and start playing. The tracker appears alongside the puzzle. If data remains unavailable, reload the game.
