Overview
Save your open tabs into collections on a new tab page that is entirely yours. Search, sort and reopen them in one keystroke.
A new-tab page that finally has your tabs on it. If you have forty tabs open and cannot bring yourself to close any of them — that is what stramus is for. Save a whole window into a collection, give it a name and close the tabs: the titles, the icons and the order stay, and tomorrow it is all still there. The rest is small things, every day: save a page without opening stramus; find what you saved, an open tab and a page from your history in one line; lay it out by dragging; keep a note beside the links it grew out of. Everything stays with you. The extension runs entirely on your computer, and your data has nowhere to go. An account is only for a second browser; collections sync, your browsing history never leaves. No analytics, no telemetry, no tracking, no ads — with an account or without. The source is open, and everything you saved exports back to bookmarks, CSV or a single backup file: you can leave any day. What is inside: ⚡ Sessions — a whole window into a collection in one motion, and back in the same order. 📌 Save from anywhere — a shortcut, a right-click or the toolbar button. No need to open stramus first; "saved" appears at once. 🔍 One search for everything — cards, open tabs and history in a single line. It forgives a typo or a forgotten keyboard layout, so you need not remember where you saw the thing. 📁 Sections and collections — tabs by project and by topic, all of it on one page. ✋ Drag and drop — cards, collections and sections follow the mouse, and an accident undoes. 📝 Notes and files — Markdown, images and PDFs sit in the collection beside the links. 🤖 The model in your browser — if Chrome has one on the device, ask it without a word going out. Or choose ChatGPT, Gemini or Claude in settings. 🔒 A PIN on a section — keeps it off the screen. That is not encryption, and the privacy policy says so. 🎨 Themes and backgrounds — five themes with a light and a dark half, an accent colour, a picture of your own. 📦 Import and export — bookmarks, CSV, OneTab and Toby; and back out the same way. 🧩 Topics from the tabs you have open — a first run reads them into named collections: by what you searched for and by the words the titles share, across sites rather than one site at a time. 🌍 Eleven interface languages. New in 1.6.0. A first run no longer opens on an empty page: the tabs you have open are read into named collections — by what you searched for and by the words their titles share, across sites. What it cannot name, it leaves alone rather than guessing. Privacy policy: https://stramus.space/privacy.html Source code: https://github.com/olluorg/stramus
