)Overview
Create Storydoc versions directly from your browser with scraped page data
Turn the page you're already looking at into a tailored Storydoc presentation without copying and pasting a single field. The Storydoc side panel sits next to your browser tab. Open it on a prospect's CRM record, LinkedIn profile, an email thread, or a company website, pick one of your Storydoc presentations, and the extension reads the details on that page to pre-fill your personalization variables — the prospect's name, job title, company, company description, logo, and more. Review, tweak, and create a ready-to-send version in seconds. Why you'll want it • Stop the copy-paste. The information you'd normally retype — name, title, company, description — is filled in for you from the page in front of you. • Personalize at the speed of your pipeline. Build a bespoke version of a deck, proposal, or one-pager per prospect in seconds, not minutes. • Stay in context. The source page and your presentation live side by side, so you never lose your place. • Smarter fill, not just scraping. When a detail isn't on the page, Storydoc's AI helps compose it (like a short company description) grounded in what it found — and you can rewrite any field with a prompt. • Your presentations, your brand. Every version is a real Storydoc doc: interactive, on-brand, and trackable once you share it. Works where you sell The extension recognizes the pages sales and marketing teams actually work in and pulls the right details from each: • Salesforce and HubSpot record pages • LinkedIn profiles and company pages • Gmail and Outlook (to identify who you're talking to) • Apollo, Pipedrive, and other prospecting tools • Any company website CRM-connected personalization If you've connected HubSpot, Salesforce, or Fathom to your Storydoc account, the extension lets you pull real record data into your version — search a HubSpot contact, deal, or company; auto-fill from an open Salesforce record; or import Fathom meeting notes — so the presentation reflects your actual pipeline, not a guess. Who it's for Sales reps, SDRs, account executives, customer success, and marketers who send Storydoc presentations and want each one personalized to the person they're reaching — without the manual busywork. What you'll need A Storydoc account. Sign in inside the side panel, and your presentations are ready to personalize. Don't have one yet? Create an account at storydoc.com. How it works Click the Storydoc icon to open the side panel. Browse to the prospect page you want to personalize from (a CRM record, LinkedIn, an email, a website). Choose the presentation you want to tailor. The extension reads the current tab and pre-fills your variables — edit anything you like. Create the version and share your personalized, trackable Storydoc. Your data The extension only reads the tab you're actively viewing, and only when you open the side panel to build a version from it. It doesn't run in the background, doesn't track your browsing history, and doesn't touch other tabs. Page details you use are sent to Storydoc to fill your presentation.
