Save, switch, customize, and share tab workspaces from a lightweight Chrome side panel.

Story Tabs turns Chrome into a collection of clean, switchable tab workspaces. Save the tabs in your current window as a group, switch to another workspace when your task changes, and restore everything later with one click. Inactive groups keep their saved URLs without leaving every page open. Use Story Tabs from Chrome’s side panel for quick access, or open the full workspace dashboard to manage groups, search saved tabs, change appearance settings, and view the tabs currently open in your window. The recipient can paste the code into Story Tabs and create the shared group in their own browser. Share codes are generated locally and include the group name, color, symbol, tab titles, and web addresses. No Story Tabs account or cloud service is required. Private by design Story Tabs stores groups and settings locally in Chrome’s extension storage. Story Tabs does not use: Accounts Advertising Analytics Subscriptions Developer-operated cloud storage Story Tabs reads tab titles and URLs only to provide its tab organization, restoration, workspace switching, memory management, and sharing features. Share codes leave your device only when you choose to copy and send them.
