Overview

Learn real ECU and TCU tuning the fun way.

STOM Tuner is a hands-on tuning lab that teaches you how engine and transmission tuning actually works, using a real dyno-style simulator instead of a textbook. You pick a car and engine from the garage, then work through eight guided missions that build on each other. Each mission has a clear goal, a hint from the STOM Labs engineer, and a Tuner's Handbook that explains the concept as you go. What you will learn: - Reading a fuel map: how the ECU targets an air-fuel ratio (AFR) for each RPM and load, and what "rich" and "lean" really mean (14.7:1 stoichiometric, richer for power). - The lean-power tradeoff: why lean mixtures make more power right up until they melt parts, and how to find the safe sweet spot while watching exhaust gas temperature (EGT). - Ignition timing: what "degrees BTDC" means, how advancing timing toward MBT builds torque, and how to back off before knock appears. - Boost: how a turbo or supercharger forces in more air for more torque, and why more boost needs more fuel and less timing to stay knock-free. - TCU / gearbox tuning: setting wide-open-throttle upshift points near the power peak, firming up shifts, and locking the torque converter to cut 0-60 times. - Building a full Stage 2 tune: a final exam that combines everything into one safe, complete calibration. - Every pull is measured on a virtual dyno with peak power, torque, 0-60, knock, and EGT, so you see the real consequences of each change. It is a safe place to make the mistakes that would cost real money and real engines. The whole app runs as a floating HUD overlay on your current tab. Click the toolbar icon to open or hide it. It never opens a new tab, never reads or changes the web page you are on, and needs no account.
