Overview
Lets the steer desktop app browse, read, and act on sites in your own signed-in Chrome, using the logins you already have.
steer agent connects the steer desktop app to your own Chrome, so steer can work on websites the way you do: signed in, with your existing sessions, and without a separate API for every site. When you ask steer to do something on the web, it can open and read pages, search, scroll, click, fill forms, and take screenshots in your browser. A banner shows on the page while steer is working, with a Stop button, and Chrome shows its own notice whenever steer sends input. If a step needs you, such as a sign-in or a CAPTCHA, steer pauses and shows a "needs your help" card instead of guessing. Requires the steer desktop app (macOS beta).
