*Rewritten 2026-07-27 after the keyword-spam rejection: prose only, no brand lists, no game-title lists.* ``` Never overpay for a Steam game again. SteamSage is a free extension that shows you the best available price for the game you're looking at, without leaving the Steam store page. No account, no ads, no tracking. HOW IT WORKS Install it once and forget it's there. When you open a game page on the Steam store, a small card appears in the bottom-right corner showing the lowest price we found for that game, which shop is selling it at that price, and how it compares to the game's all-time low. If the deal looks good, one click takes you to that shop. If you'd rather not see the card on a particular game, close it and it stays closed. That's the whole extension. It does one thing: answer the question "am I about to overpay for this?" WHAT IT COMPARES We track prices continuously across more than fifteen established PC game retailers — the official storefronts you already know, plus the reputable key marketplaces where the same Steam key is often considerably cheaper. Prices refresh roughly every two hours, so what you see is current rather than a stale snapshot. WHY THE ALL-TIME LOW MATTERS A discount percentage tells you very little on its own. Plenty of games show "-50%" in every seasonal sale, which means that price is simply what the game costs, not an opportunity. SteamSage shows the lowest price a game has ever reached alongside today's price, so you can tell the difference between a genuine low and a recurring one in about two seconds. PRIVACY The extension reads one thing from the page you're viewing: the numeric Steam AppID in the URL. That's what we use to look up prices. It does not read your Steam profile, your wishlist, your library or your browsing history, it doesn't require an account, and it doesn't show advertising. Full details are in the privacy policy linked from this listing. HOW IT STAYS FREE If you buy a game after clicking through, the shop may pay us a small commission. It costs you nothing extra, and it does not influence what we show you: the card always displays the lowest price we found, regardless of which shop it comes from. SUPPORT Questions, bug reports and feature requests are welcome at hello@steamsage.io. You can also read more about how the extension works, and use the full web comparison tool, at steamsage.io. ``` **Why this passes**: every sentence describes functionality in prose. No bullet list of retailer names, no list of game titles, no repeated keyword strings.
