Overview

Helper tool for ignoring games in the Steam Store.

Take back control of your Steam Store recommendations with one-click game curation. Steam Ignore Like A Pro is a lightweight, fast, and privacy-friendly extension that simplifies ignoring Steam games you don't want to see right from the store front. No more opening game pages just to click "Ignore". HOW TO USE: 1. Browse the Steam Store (categories, sales, search results). 2. See a game you dislike or already own elsewhere? 3. Hold Right-Click and swipe right on the game's capsule. 4. An "IGNORED" badge appears on the game right away; the ignore itself reaches Steam moments later. FEATURES: ▪ Completely free and open source. ▪ Lightweight - no frameworks, no tracking, no telemetry. ▪ One-Click Ignore - Hold Right-Click + Swipe Right to ignore a game, anywhere a game capsule appears. ▪ "Already Played" Ignore Mode - Swipe Left to mark a game you played on another platform as "Already Played", instead of opening its page to click "Ignore" -> "Already Played". ▪ Customizable - Gestures or hotkeys (hold Ctrl, Shift or Alt + Left-Click instead of swiping), individual modules on or off, ignore modes, the interface on the page or in the browser toolbar, and more. ▪ Undo - Take a single ignore back with a reverse gesture on the capsule, or roll back recent ones in bulk, by time or by count. ▪ Your Discovery Queue Helper - Automate ignoring while you browse your daily Discovery Queue. Configure it to ignore games that meet your criteria (e.g. Mixed/Negative reviews), or to ignore and scroll the feed forward for you, saving you time and clicks. ▪ Game Genre/Category Queue Auto-Ignore - Not bound by Steam's 10-tag ignore cap. Open the Discovery Queue of a specific tag, genre or category page (VR, Racing, and so on) and let the automator work through it - every game on the list, or only the badly reviewed ones. ▪ Curator Ignore Queue - Stage an entire curator's list into an ignore queue straight from the curator page, optionally filtered, and let the extension work through it at a measured pace. ▪ 19 interface languages - switchable on the fly, independently of your Steam language. Q: Why use this instead of native Steam UI? A: Native ignore buttons aren't available on every Steam page or widget either and often requires a multi-click workflow (hover over the game capsule -> click ▪▪▪ -> click "Ignore") and doesn't have an "Already played" option in that menu. The extension gives you one-gesture ignore on any Steam page and widget, plus automation. Q: Is using this extension compliant with Steam's policies? A: Yes. The extension does not use exploits, backdoors, or malicious scripts. It simply automates standard Steam actions (like clicking the "Ignore" button) that you would perform manually. It is also paced by design: any ignore request passes through a single shared rate limiter, restricting how fast requests can reach Steam's servers. Q: Can I undo an ignore action? A: Yes, at any time. The standard Steam ignore and un-ignore from the game's own store page still work too - nothing is locked. There is also a reverse gesture that undoes a single ignore, and the undo applet rolls back recent ones in bulk. Q: Does this extension work if my Steam interface is not in English? A: Yes. The extension is language-agnostic. It works regardless of the language settings you have chosen in your Steam account, as it interacts with the underlying page elements rather than relying on text labels. PRIVACY & SAFETY: ▪ Official Steam Integration: This extension interacts with Steam's native features. It performs actions either by simulating standard user interactions or using standard Steam API calls, ensuring a safe experience that complies with platform norms. ▪ No tracking, no analytics, no external servers. We do not collect, receive, or share any personal user data. Your settings, ignore history and pending queue are saved locally in your own browser, and requests go directly to Steam's official servers. ▪ No Steam API keys, passwords, or personal Steam data are stored or copied outside your browser - the extension strictly uses your active Steam session.
