Keeps your video speed after pause, seeking and fullscreen on any site. Per-site speed, on-video panel and video marks.

Set a video to 1.5×, pause or skip ahead — and it's back to 1×? Steady Speed keeps the speed you chose on any website: after pause, seeking, fullscreen and picture-in-picture. If you change the speed with the site's own controls, the extension accepts it instead of fighting back. • A speed for every site; remember it per site, per tab or everywhere. • A small panel on the video: current speed, quick presets, − / + buttons. Drag it anywhere; double-click puts it back. • Video marks: save a moment and jump back to it later; the mark is named from the subtitles. • Keyboard shortcuts work with any keyboard layout and stay quiet while you type. • Videos inside ads are left alone — shortcuts control the main video of the page. • On sites where you turn it off, the extension doesn't load at all. Privacy: the extension collects nothing and sends nothing. Settings stay in Chrome (synced through your Google account if Chrome sync is on).
