Overview

Block distracting sites and focus. Unlimited block list, focus timer, no account, no tracking. Hide YouTube Shorts & feeds.

Steady Focus is a calm, honest website blocker. Block the sites that pull you away, start a focus session when you need one, and get on with your day. No account, no tracking, and a free plan that's actually useful. FREE, FOREVER • Unlimited block list. Block whole sites (reddit.com) or just part of one (youtube.com/shorts), and switch each one on or off. • One click from the toolbar: "Block this site". • Focus sessions: 25 or 50 minutes, or your own length, with optional Pomodoro breaks. Sites marked "During focus" are blocked only while you focus. • A calm block page that shows what was blocked and how long is left. No guilt-tripping, just a Back button. PRO ($2.99/month or $19.99/year, free for 7 days) • Schedules: recurring focus windows, like weekdays 9–5, including overnight ones. • Strict mode: while a session or schedule runs, sites can't be removed and blocking can't be switched off until it ends. (Being honest: browsers always let you uninstall an extension. Strict mode adds friction at the right moment; it doesn't trap you.) • Distraction filters: hide YouTube Shorts (Shorts links open in the normal player), YouTube home recommendations and the Reddit home feed (including r/popular and r/all). In beta: Instagram Reels and the "For you" feed on X (these may stop working when the site changes). • Allowlist mode: during focus, only the sites you choose open. • Stats: focus minutes and blocked visits for the week, kept only in your browser. • Settings password: a speed bump for your future self. The 7-day trial starts the first time you switch on a Pro feature, not when you install. No card needed. HONEST BY DESIGN • No account, ever. • Nothing about your browsing leaves your device. Your block list, sessions and stats live in your browser. The only network request Steady Focus makes is checking your license key, if you have one. • Cancel anytime from the link in your receipt email; you keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for. • Unlimited sites on the free plan.
