Missing information is never treated as "not available", so a place is never shown as safe just because its page is silent. ✨ FEATURES • Free — every feature, no sign-up. • Icons on every search result — each card gets a row of icons for the hotel facilities and house rules you track. • Match score — each checked card shows how well it fits your checklist, with important facilities counting more and a red ! on any dealbreaker. On the map, price pins show the score too. • Compare hotels side by side — save properties from search results, the search map or a property page into lists like a booking.com wishlist, named after your destination, then open a hotel comparison for your dates and guests: price, meal plan, free cancellation and the day you are charged, room and apartment options, review scores and your facility marks. Filter for free cancellation, breakfast included or rooms that sleep everyone, and hide stays nothing matches. "Fetch all" loads the saved properties one at a time, at a gentle pace. Recent stays brings back the dates and guests of a past search in one click. • Your shortlist on a map — open a map in the compare tab: price pins show each stay's match score, hovering a pin shows its photo, stars, review score and price per night, and the matching column lifts. Dock it above or beside the table, or expand it over the page. • Rooms for your family or group — set who sleeps in which room, then pick the cheapest rooms that fit everyone or the cheapest that follow your split. When one room doesn't sleep everyone, add more and see the total with city tax. "Continue on booking.com" opens the property with those rooms already selected. • StayPeek tab on booking.com — a small tab on the right edge of the page opens your Checklist, Compare and Feedback, so you never leave booking.com. Drag it up or down if it covers something. The toolbar popup keeps the on/off switch and the settings. • Your own hotel checklist — 60+ facilities to choose from: mark pets or smoking as wanted or avoided, require free parking or pets, ask for a private or shared kitchen or bathroom, pick staff languages, views or a review range, and choose how loudly a mismatch stands out. • Check facilities button — one click loads a property's details and fills in its icons. Results stay on your device for 30 days, and each card shows how long ago it was checked. • The same row on the property page — it appears under the photos and fills in on its own, with a bookmark to save the property. Your open search tabs pick up the result too. • Room photos, bigger — open booking.com's room photos in StayPeek's large gallery. • Badges for details — $ means it costs extra, ? means booking.com doesn't state it, and a diagonal slash means the property says it is not available. • Templates — start from Default, Allergy (no pets, no smoking, no carpets, hypoallergenic rooms for pet-free properties), Self-catering, Remote work or Family, or save your own checklist with its settings. Saved templates sync with your Chrome profile. • Your way — small, medium, large or hidden icons (the match score and compare button stay), a match score as a coloured number, a small or large ring, or hidden, zoom, and an on/off switch in the popup that removes everything StayPeek adds to booking.com, the StayPeek tab included. • Dark mode for booking.com — a light/dark theme button in the StayPeek tab also puts the booking.com home page and the search and property pages StayPeek marks in dark mode, so your icons and scores are easier to read at night. You can limit it to StayPeek's own screens in Settings. • In your language — StayPeek is translated into several languages, switches with booking.com's language (or keeps one you pick in Settings), and reads booking.com's house rules in them too. 🚀 HOW TO USE 1. Install StayPeek and search for places on booking.com as usual. 2. Icons appear under each result. Hollow icons mean the property hasn't been checked yet. 3. Press "Check facilities" on a result to fill in its icons, or open the property and the row fills in on its own. 4. Open the StayPeek tab on the right edge of the page, choose Checklist and then Customize to change which facilities are shown. Press Apply to save. 5. Press the bookmark on a result or property page to save it to a list, then open Compare from the StayPeek tab to see your saved places side by side. 🔒 PRIVACY • 🚫 No account • 🚫 No ads • 🚫 No analytics Your settings stay in your browser (synced through your Google account if you use Chrome sync), and checked results and compare lists stay on your device. To read facilities and stay details, StayPeek loads pages from booking.com only, with your own booking.com session, the same as opening them yourself. Nothing reaches the developer unless you send feedback, fill in the optional uninstall survey or open the compare map, which loads map tiles for the area shown through StayPeek's server (no list or booking.com data) and map fonts and icons from protomaps.github.io. The privacy policy lists exactly what a feedback message includes. 🔑 PERMISSIONS • "Read and change your data on www.booking.com" — needed to show the icons on booking.com search and property pages, to look up each property's facilities and to load the properties in your compare lists for your dates. StayPeek only runs on booking.com search results and property pages. • Storage — needed to remember your facilities, settings, previously checked properties and compare lists. • Optional: "all booking.com sites" — asked only if you press Allow, to show the icons on other booking.com addresses such as sp.booking.com, where partner links can take you. 🎯 OUR MISSION Booking.com's pets filter finds pet-friendly hotels and stays, but there is no filter for "pets not allowed" — the one you need when booking with pet allergies, asthma or other sensitivities. StayPeek is the missing booking filter, except it hides nothing: looking for pet-free properties, or a dog-free or cat-free apartment or hotel? Each result shows its pet policy: whether pets are allowed, pets are not allowed, or the property doesn't say. Travelling with a pet and need pets allowed, or a dog-friendly place for your dog? Or pets forbidden, with a strict no pet policy, because of a cat or dog allergy? Mark pets as wanted or avoided, and StayPeek colours each result to match. We want allergy-friendly booking to be easy. Still, no extension can promise allergy-free booking: "no pets" in the house rules says nothing about earlier guests or the owner's own animals, so ask the property when it matters. 💬 SUPPORT Found a bug or have a suggestion?
