Stash is a Toby-class tab manager that bundles every premium feature commercial alternatives charge $5–10/month for — and adds a few they don't have at all — into a free, fully backend-free Chrome extension. Your data syncs across your signed-in browsers via chrome.storage.sync (Google's), not through any Stash server (we have none). 🗂 COLLECTIONS WITH 8 COLORS + DRAG-DROP Save your open tabs into named collections, organize them with 8 color tints, drag tabs between collections, pin important ones to the top. Arrow keys to navigate, Enter to open. ✨ AI ORGANIZE (BYOK) One click clusters all your open tabs into named collections by topic. Bring your own API key from Anthropic, OpenAI, Google Gemini, or Groq (Groq is free with no credit card). The AI gets only tab titles + URLs, never your browsing history. ✨ AI COLLECTION SUMMARY (BYOK) Right-click any collection → "Summarize with AI". Get a 1-2 sentence theme description in your language. Cached so revisits are instant. 📚 READING LIST MODE Mark any collection as a reading list. Tab cards then show ✓ to mark read, unread tabs sort first, read tabs strike-through with reduced opacity. No need to open the popup. ☁ TRUE CROSS-DEVICE SYNC, NO BACKEND Collections, workspaces, tags, notes, settings — all stored in chrome.storage.sync. Google syncs them between your signed-in browsers automatically. We have no server.
