The picture shows a beautiful little bird sitting on a red flower branch. This is a white-eyed babbler or more commonly known as the White-eyed Babbler Scientific name: Zosterops japonicus (Japanese White-eyed Babbler – common in Vietnam) Family: White-eyed Babbler (Zosteropidae) Back and head: Green or light olive green. Breast and belly: Bright yellow on the neck and chest, gradually turning creamy white on the belly. Eyes: There is a very distinct white ring around the eyes – the main identifying feature. Beak and legs: Dark grey, thin and pointed.
