The photo shows a pot of Stapelia gigantea cactus, a unique succulent plant native to Africa. The succulent, bright green stem has four wavy edges, grows upright and densely, forming a healthy green mass. The most attractive point of the photo is the large, dark purple-brown flowers, with clear white veins like animal skin and covered with a layer of fine hairs around the petals. The flower is shaped like a five-pointed star, large in size, looks very strange and attractive. However, the special thing is that Stapelia flowers emit a slight stench like rotting flesh, to attract flies - the species that naturally pollinates the plant.
