Stanza – No Double Voices in Teams Meetings

Hybrid meeting, several laptops in one room? Then you know the problem: you hear your colleague live, and a moment later the same sentence again in your headphones. It's tiring, distracting and makes it hard to follow the conversation. Stanza fixes it. It uses your microphone as a reference for what you already hear in the room, measures the delay of the call, and removes from your headphones only the voices you have already heard live. People joining remotely never pass through your microphone, so they come through as usual. If the trial ends, your calls keep working normally: audio just passes through unfiltered. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Will it cut out people joining remotely? No. Their voices never pass through your microphone, so they are not recognized as room voices. Only when a remote person and a colleague in the room speak at exactly the same moment does the remote voice dip slightly. Why does the microphone stay on when I'm muted? Stanza needs to hear the room to recognize your colleagues' voices. That audio stays on your computer: Teams doesn't receive it while you're muted, and Stanza never records or sends it. I still hear short fragments at the start of sentences. Open the Stanza icon and move Sensitivity towards "aggressive". You can also raise Maximum reduction up to "Total". Others hear an echo from my microphone. Can Stanza fix that? That's a separate issue. Turn on voice isolation in Teams (Settings → Recognition → Create voice profile). Does it work in Microsoft Edge?
