Stagehand for Google Meet
Overview
Pop any Google Meet participant into a separate window, then pin, crop and zoom them to arrange the call your way.
Stagehand lets you pull anyone in a Google Meet call into a separate window and arrange them however you like. Hover over a participant's video and click the pop-out button. They appear in the Stagehand window, which you can move, resize or drag onto another screen. Pop out more people and they join the same window, laid out automatically so everyone is as large as possible. In the Stagehand window you can: • Pin one person, with everyone else stacked on the right • Choose a shape for each person: original, square, wide or tall • Zoom in and drag to frame exactly the part of the video you care about • Reset any video to its original view in one click • Remove a person with the × button • Double-click anyone to go fullscreen Meet itself stays exactly as it is. Stagehand adds one small button when you hover over a video, and nothing else changes. Good for: • Keeping the presenter or interpreter large on a second monitor • Watching a few key people while you share your screen • Framing a whiteboard, a demo device or someone's camera close-up Privacy: Stagehand runs entirely in your browser. It shows video your Meet tab is already receiving, and it doesn't collect, store or send any data. Stagehand is an independent project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google.
