Stack Sift

Triage Sentry issues locally: classify errors, ML insights, and sidebar on sentry.io pages.

Stack Sift is a browser extension that enhances Sentry issue pages with local incident triage. It analyzes the information already visible on the page, such as stack traces, breadcrumbs, environment and tags, and provides additional context to help understand errors faster. The extension classifies errors into common categories, highlights relevant stack frames, suggests a priority level, and surfaces possible causes based on detected patterns. It also allows mapping local project folders so you can jump directly from Sentry to the corresponding source file in your editor. All processing happens locally in the browser. No data is sent to external servers and no backend is used. Stack Sift is not intended to replace existing observability tools. It works as an additional layer on top of Sentry to reduce noise during incident triage. The extension uses a combination of rule-based signals and in-browser machine learning to improve classification over time based on user feedback.
