Stack Scout
Overview
Detect the technologies used by any page locally in Chrome and Edge.
Stack Scout helps you see what a website appears to be built with — without leaving your browser or sending page data to a server. How it works 1. Open a normal website tab. 2. Click Scan page. 3. Review each finding with a confidence score and a short evidence note (for example: script source, DOM marker, cookie, or window global). What it checks The scan looks at signals already available on the page: HTML markup, linked scripts and stylesheets, selected JavaScript globals, and cookie names when accessible. Results are heuristic — minified or server-rendered sites may show few or no matches. Privacy • Runs locally in Chrome or Edge • Does not upload page content • No account and no remote backend • Uses activeTab and scripting only when you start a scan Good to know Stack Scout is a lightweight local helper for developers and curious users. It is not affiliated with any framework vendor or site builder.
