i found an other tikok video download as an extension that works for me. official website of this extension https://tiktokdw.com

Takes you to a website to paste the TT url and you click generate download link. The video the link gives is random not the clip from the video you pasted.

It works, at first i was skeptical so i put it inside a virtual windows and tested it and its safe. just for anyone out there trying not to pick up a virus click download video, NOT download video now. it redirects you to getting a random extension but tapping download video just downloads the video for you

All this does is open the same tab again (so that you end up with multiple tabs of the same tiktok page).
